Marc Sargis
"Marc was my brother and my best friend. He was loved and respected by all whose lives he touched. He, in turn, loved and respected his family and all of his many friends. I know that this love and respect was evidenced by the hundreds who attended his wake and his funeral, and the many friends who continue to come to my house to share companionship and remember him. Although Marc lived only a short 24 years, he led a full, happy and productive life. His great love for all of us will keep him in our hearts forever."
- Ryan Sargis

Misericordia

MisericordiaMarc's life is celebrated by his loving family and friends every day. The Marc Sargis Memorial Golf Outing is an opportunity for everyone to celebrate Marc's birthday together every year and provide an opportunity to impact the lives of young people around the world!

Misericordia is "Home" to 550 children and adults with developmental disabilities, many also physically challenged. They are persons of all races, religions and creeds with disabilities ranging from moderate to severe and profound. Misericordia is blessed with the friendship of thousands of good people who share the belief that persons with disabilities are entitled to the best lives possible. A full spectrum of services is provided in a beautiful campus setting and in homes in the neighboring community for those individuals who are able to handle a greater degree of independence. Innovative programs help the children and adults achieve and maintain the highest degree of independence possible. Private donations help support these programs and also help Misericordia expand to provide service to more people in need.
